Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I love game nights, exploring parks, and adding books to my ever-growing "to-read" list. When I'm not reading or trying out a new Pinterest recipe, my natural habitat is on the couch re-watching Bones or catching up on the latest Marvel shows.

What was your favorite thing about school as a kid?
The library, of course.

What does a day in the life of an editor look like?
On a typical day, I'll edit a manuscript, research facts, send feedback to an author, and touch base with a designer about a series that is in layout. I also do proofing and edit marketing materials on a regular basis.

What's your favorite part about being an editor for Black Rabbit Books?
I enjoy learning about interesting, new topics each week, but my favorite part is seeing the book come together in a layout. It's the first time I get to see the book as a whole and it's exciting to help create something I would have loved to read growing up.

What inspires you to make children's books?
The fact that I could be making a kid's next favorite book.
